Note Informative	I Discharge festeggiano i 40 anni dal loro debutto nel 1980 e continuano a sopravvivere come pionieri del sottogenere D-beat di cui sono stati fondatori. Il loro stile ha subito l’influenza del metal estremo e del punk caratterizzato da temi anarchici, politici e di guerra. Fortemente sostenuti da John Peel nei loro primi anni, hanno collezionato diversi singoli e album in classifica. Il singolo di debutto “Realities of War” ha ottenuto il 5° posto nella classifica indie del Regno Unito per ben 44 settimane nel 1980. L’EP “Why?” si è posizionato al 1° posto della classifica indie l’anno successivo e l’album di debutto “Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing” si è posizionato al 2° posto. “PROTEST AND SURVIVE – THE ANTHOLOGY” sarà pubblicato il 21 febbraio in occasione del 40° anniversario, disponibile in formato 2CD digipack (con un booklet di 20 pagine) e in un doppio gatefold con due vinili stampati a tema schizzo contenente 53 brani, di cui alcuni inediti, che ripercorrono tutta la loro carriera.
