“Other Voices, Other Rooms” di Nanci Griffith è più di una semplice raccolta di classici folk: segna il suo debutto con Elektra, un’etichetta che ha avuto un ruolo fondamentale nel promuovere il movimento cantautorale degli anni ’60. Un raro allontanamento dalla sua stessa scrittura, l’album del 1993 presenta la voce inconfondibile della Griffith accanto a leggende come Emmylou Harris, Arlo Guthrie e John Prine.
